Will the APOBEC3G (D9C6Z) Rabbit mAb #43584 detect other APOBEC family members?

Our APOBEC3G (D9C6Z) Rabbit mAb #43584 was produced with an antigenic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Gly255 of the human APOBEC3G protein (see Uniprot ID #Q9HC16; https://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9HC16). A BLAST search of the antigenic peptide showed 100% sequence identity with multiple isoforms of APOBEC3G, but only 60-70% identity with other APOBEC family members (i.e., 3A and 3B) with 50% coverage. Given these results, it is highly unlikely that this product will cross react with other APOBEC family members.
