Why do I see a doublet band when using the Sestrin-2 (D1B6) Rabbit mAb #8487 for western blot?

A doublet band is sometimes observed when using the Sestrin-2 (D1B6) Rabbit mAb #8487 for western blot, depending on the gel conditions. There is only one isoform sequence described in UniProt (UniProt ID: P58004 https://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P58004). However, there appears to be a number of post-translational modifications located on the protein as noted in PhosphoSitePlus (https://www.phosphosite.org/proteinAction.action?id=15861&showAllSites=true), including a number of ubiquitylation sites. The modification sites may contribute to the observed doublet using #8487.
