What if the whole CUT&RUN kit is left at -20℃ or room temperature upon receipt?

Our CUT&RUN kits contain components that are packaged carefully and need to be stored at RT, 4℃, -20℃, or -80℃. It's important to store each reagent at the suggested temperature to ensure proper functionality.

If the whole kit is accidentally left at -20℃, the Concanavalin A beads and Drosophila Spike-In Nuclei Control will lose some activity. If this happens, we recommend purchasing our standalone Concanavalin A Magnetic Beads and Activation Buffer #93569 and Drosophila Spike-In Control Kit for CUT&Tag (Rabbit) #29811 for future experiments. The Drosophila nuclei included in CUT&Tag kit #29811 can be used as a replacement in your CUT&RUN assay, as the components are the same. All other reagents in the kit are fine to use after thawing.
If the whole kit is left at room temperature for less than a week, the majority of the reagents will still be good to use, including the pAG-MNase and the Concanavalin A beads. Exceptions are the Drosophila Spike-In Nuclei Control, H2Av Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody, Spermidine solution, and Protease Inhibitor Cocktail, which may have impaired performances. Both the 100X Spermidine #27287 and Protease Inhibitor Cocktail (200X) #7012 are available as standalone products. The Drosophila Spike-In Nuclei Control and H2Av Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody can be replaced by purchasing the Drosophila Spike-In Control Kit for CUT&Tag (Rabbit) #29811, which includes both items and can be used as a replacement in your CUT&RUN assay.
