Does PMSF interfere with the Caspase-3 Activity Assay Kit #5723?

We have performed side-by-side testing of the Caspase-3 Activity Assay Kit #5723, with and without PMSF, and find that the assay performs better without the addition of PMSF. The PathScan Sandwich ELISA Lysis Buffer (1X) #7018 has been optimized for use with the Caspase-3 Activity Assay Kit #5723 without the addition of supplemental inhibitors, such as PMSF.
