Can your ChIP-Grade Protein G Magnetic Beads #9006 be used for immunoprecipitation as well?

We do know these beads will work for Immunoprecipitation however, we do not recommend our ChIP-Grade Protein G Magnetic Beads #9006 in this application due to the presence of background. If you do choose to attempt immunoprecipitation using these beads, we suggest our recommended IP protocol found on the CST protocol webpage.
