Can I use fractionated samples from the Cell Fractionation Kit #9038 for immunoprecipitation?

The buffers provided in the Cell Fractionation Kit #9038 (as well as the final working stock solutions) contain SDS Therefore, it may be necessary to purify the fractionated samples using a commercially available SDS purification kit prior to the IP. We have successfully tested fractionation samples in-house via IP after using an SDS purification kit. Please note that the background may vary depending on the specific cell lysates and targets of interest and we cannot guarantee activity by immunoprecipitation, as it is not the primary intended use of this kit.
