Product Information
Product Description
This Cell Signaling Technology® antibody is conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 594 fluorescent dye under optimal conditions and formulated at 1.5 mg/mL.
Product Usage Information
The optimal dilution of the anti-species antibody should be determined for each primary antibody by titration. However, a final dilution of 1:800 – 1:3200 should yield acceptable results for immunofluorescent assays.
When using rabbit Fc-directed secondaries, a higher concentration of primary antibody may be required. The optimal dilution of each primary antibody should be determined by titration.

Storage
Supplied lyophilized with a formulation of 0.01 M sodium phosphate, 0.25 M sodium chloride (pH 7.6), 15 mg/mL BSA, and 0.05% azide at 4ºC. Reconstitute lyophilized material with 0.75 mL dH2O and centrifuge until clear. The product is stable for six weeks at 4ºC as an undiluted liquid. For extended storage, aliquot and freeze at -80ºC, or add an equal volume of glycerol (ACS grade or better) to a final concentration of 50% and store at -20ºC. Solutions should be used within 12 months. Aliquot to avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Protect from light.
Specificity / Sensitivity
Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, Fc Fragment Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 594 Conjugate) reacts with the Fc portion of Rabbit IgG heavy chain, but does not cross-react with the Fab portion of rabbit immunoglobulins. This antibody conjugate also has minimal cross-reaction with human serum proteins and may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species; however, it does not react with non-immunoglobulin serum proteins.

Background
This product is optimized for use as a secondary antibody in immunofluorescent applications. Fluorescent anti-species IgG conjugates are ideal for immunofluorescence. Cell Signaling Technology applies strict quality control procedures to ensure that each conjugate provides optimal specificity and fluorescence.
