    实验步骤

    Specificity / Sensitivity

REDD1 (F7T9B) Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody recognizes endogenous levels of total REDD1 protein.

    Species Reactivity:

    Human

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with recombinant protein specific to the full-length of human REDD1 protein.

    Background

Regulated in development and DNA damage responses 1 (REDD1), also known as DNA damage-inducible transcript 4 protein (DDIT4), is a 25 kDa stress response protein whose expression is induced by hypoxia, cell stress, apoptosis, and DNA damage. REDD1 is a transcriptional target of p53 and p63 following DNA damage, linking p63 to the regulation of reactive oxygen species (1). REDD1 functions as a negative regulator of mTOR in response to hypoxia in a tuberin-dependent manner (2). Depending on cell context, REDD1 can be protective or detrimental to cells under oxidative or ischemic stress (3).
