Product Description
This biotinylated peptide contains glutamic acid (Glu) and tyrosine (Tyr) at a ratio of 4:1 (Glu:Tyr). The tyrosine residue in the peptide has been chemically phosphorylated in the course of peptide synthesis. This phospho-peptide was generated for use as substrate in tyrosine phosphatase assays, and also can serve as a positive control in tyrosine kinase assays.

This phosphorylated peptide can be detected with the Phospho-Tyrosine Mouse mAb (P-Tyr-100) #9411. Sample kinase and phosphatase assay protocol is attached.
