    Product Information

    Product Description

This Cell Signaling Technology® antibody is conjugated to Texas Red fluorescent dye under optimal conditions and formulated at 2 mg/mL.

    Product Usage Information

The optimal dilution of the anti-species antibody should be determined for each primary antibody by titration. However, a final dilution of 1:1600 – 1:3200 should yield acceptable results for immunofluorescent assays.

Texas Red has relatively low photostability. Usage of an antifade reagent is recommended to preserve signal intensity.

    Storage

Supplied lyophilized in a formulation of 0.02 M potassium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride (pH 7.2), 10 mg/mL BSA, and 0.01% azide. Store lyophilized product for up to 12 months at 4C.
Reconstitute lyophilized material with 1.0 mL dH2O and centrifuge until clear (if needed). Once reconstituted, the undiluted liquid product is stable for six weeks at 4ºC. For extended storage, aliquot and freeze at -20C or below to avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Dilute to a working solution immediately prior to use.

    Specificity / Sensitivity

Goat Anti-Horse IgG, Fc Fragment Antibody (Texas Red Conjugate) reacts with the Fc portion of horse IgG. This antibody conjugate does not react with the Fab portion of horse IgG.
